Having an onsite clinic is making a significant impact on the overall health of our employees. Free services have equated to early diagnosis of life changing healthcare issues, such as heart disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes and cancer. Many of the employees and their family members who have visited the clinic have had a baseline EKG and basic lab work performed, which has often resulted in the early detection of medical issues and subsequent education and treatment. We actually see employees making diet and other changes in their lives to prevent the development of a serious medical condition.
