Wellness at work for you
I came to work for IMWell Health because I truly believe they have found a solution to many of the problems plaguing health care today. As a physician, it can be frustrating to have access to so many tools that can prevent catastrophic illness and keep a person in good health, but not be able to use them. So often, we run into barriers to health care such as lack of coverage or insufficient patient motivation. Being able to work directly with employers who not only realize the benefits of preventive medicine and disease management, but who actively encourage their employees to take care of themselves, removes these barriers and allows me as a physician to focus on keeping my patients healthy. Also, as a long time advocate of electronic health records, IMWell Health provides me with an electronic chart that integrates evidenced based reminders for disease management and preventive medicine that is customized for each patient. This allows me to quickly and reliably identify and meet each patient’s personal health care needs. Wellness is not just an abstract concept to me. It is a passion, and IMWell Health provides me with the tools and support I need to pursue this passion to its fullest extent.

Building relationships and seeing results
As an Advanced Practice Nurse with IMWell Health I have been blessed with a unique healthcare model (or setting) in which to practice. This setting gives me the opportunity to build relationships with my patients and our corporate clients. The quality of time I am allowed to spend with my patients gives me the ability to concentrate on wellness and prevention through education. Time and time again I have witnessed positive patient outcomes as a results of this process. Evidence-based medicine
As a practitioner at IMWell Health I have the opportunity to practice evidence-based medicine. Barriers to care are eliminated because patients are allowed frequent comprehensive visits to gain control of chronic disease processes while encompassing wellness interventions. Providers are familiar with formularies of each company, decreasing the cost to patients and improving compliance as well as outcomes. I know that I am improving the quality of life of the patients who receive care at our clinics!
