Will my employer have access to my medical records?
No, IMWell Health Clinics are independent health care providers and operate under the same confidentiality laws and regulations as any other medical practice.
How long will I have to wait to get an appointment?
We have developed Fast Track appointments with same day/next day service for patients with acute illnesses that cannot wait to be seen. If your appointment is not for an acute illness we typically get you in within a week while routine physicals could be scheduled within a couple of weeks.
Is there any co-pay or other cost to me associated with visiting the clinic?
Usually no, your organization has directly provided for the healthcare needs of covered employees and their dependants. There are no charges to you for services provided at the IMWell Health clinic.
Can my family utilize the clinic?
Yes, as long as your family is covered by your company’s insurance program, they are eligible to be seen at the clinic.
How long is the average appointment?
That depends on the type of clinical visit you need. Our regular appointments allow for 15-30 minutes for your visit, most of this time will be spent with your provider. However we have also developed Fast Track appointments that are 15 minutes or less, for those times when you have a quicker, acute care need.
Do you have additional education resources available outside the clinic?
Yes while our providers are your greatest medical resource our Wellness Information page is an updated resource for your health and chronic disease management needs.
Can I have my lab work drawn at our clinic and sent to another doctor?
Yes, all your doctor will need to do is send us an order with your diagnosis requesting the tests needed. At your IMWell Health Clinic you not only benefit from the convenience of our services but you and your employer see the savings.
What do I need to bring to for my first visit?
All you need to bring is valid photo identification and your insurance card. To further reduce the wait time during your first visit, many of our patients prefer to print off and fill out their IMWell Health Patient Registration & Medical History Form.
